I have this thing about crayons. They evoke such ardent nostalgia. I know I'm not the only adult who can derive fleeting contentment from a whiff of Crayolas. But I also recall, with great fondness, a clip from Sesame Street about how crayons are made. When I was young, I found it the most fascinating, visually compelling process. It sure beat the noodle-making clip.
